EIRC guide shifts to Space Subsidy
The Edmonton Immigrant and Refugee Community Grant Program Guide now presents Space Subsidy as the featured stream instead of Community Action Projects. The visible stream details also show a maximum request of up to $4,000 and a $100,000 budget allocation for Space Subsidy, compared with the previous header showing Community Action Projects with a $10,000 maximum request and a $126,250 budget allocation. The opening description now emphasizes support for space rental and the need to justify subsidy requests, which shifts the guide’s funding focus toward venue costs and away from the earlier Community Action Projects emphasis.
