Edmonton Arts Council - Connections & Exchanges Initiatives

• The applicant must be a not-for-profit organization.
• The organization must have its legal address in the City of Edmonton or in Enoch Cree Nation, Alexander First Nation, Paul First Nation, or Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation.
• A majority of the organization’s board members must reside in the City of Edmonton or in Enoch Cree Nation, Alexander First Nation, Paul First Nation, or Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation.
• The project must be a new initiative (not a continuation, advancement, or expansion of an existing program, project, or planned activity).
• The project must align with activating the City of Edmonton’s 10-year arts and heritage plan, Connections & Exchanges.

• Funding priorities emphasize fair and professional pay for Edmonton artists and arts workers.
• Projects must be new initiatives (not a continuation, advancement, or expansion of existing activities).
