How to apply
- Complete an online form outlining your project plans, logistics, and long-term maintenance.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed and scored based on merit, application strength, and creativity.
- Starting in March, selected applicants are contacted on a rolling basis to confirm funding for spring (April–June) or fall (September–November) planting.
- Tree Canada will reimburse eligible project costs up to the full grant amount once your planting is completed and all supporting documents are submitted.
- If you’re unable to pay for project expenses upfront, Tree Canada can arrange to pay one supplier directly on your behalf.
