- Temporary labour, professional fees, and external professional services
- Project-related rental costs and non-municipal premises
- Equipment and materials needed for the project, within the program limit
- Promotion costs, artist fees, travel and training in Quebec
- Non-refundable GST/QST/HST portions

- Operating costs and recurring activities
- Projects already started or recurring projects
- Buildings, infrastructure, restoration, land, and property purchases
- Fundraising, benefits, sponsorships, contests, awards, and international projects
- Expenses not directly related to the project or incurred before the announcement letter

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by a selection committee.
- Eligible projects are assessed against the program criteria.
- The committee selects one or more projects.
- A contract is signed within 30 days after approval.
- A final accountability report is required before payment is released.
Additional information
- Projects can be submitted at any time by email.
- The selection committee meets twice a year, in early April and early September.
- Applicants will be notified of the decision, whether positive or negative.
- Supported projects must have their funds committed by December 31, 2026.
