Overview of the Economic Diversification Fund (FDE) for the MRC des Sources territory program
The Economic Diversification Fund (FDE) for the MRC des Sources offers up to $25.5 million in financial support to encourage economic diversification in the region. The program funds projects led by SMEs, including business startups and initiatives that create jobs and foster local investment.
Financing terms and conditions
- A total financial assistance amount of $25.5 million was allocated for projects between April 1, 2017, and March 31, 2022.
- From April 10, 2013, to March 31, 2022, the program contributed to the creation of 338 jobs and generated $140 million in local economic investment.
- Support provided included funding for 26 SMEs and enabled the completion of 42 projects.
- For every $16 million granted in assistance, 125 full-time equivalent jobs were created.

- Priority is given to projects aligned with the five priority sectors identified by the fund.
