Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Low-income households whose total occupant income does not exceed the qualifying threshold.
  • Homeowners.
  • Tenants.

Who is not eligible

  • A household that has already taken advantage of the Éconologis program within the last five years, unless the applicant has moved and has not been registered for the program in the last three years.

How to apply

  • Check whether you are eligible for the program.
  • Register online using the Éconologis appointment request form or register by phone.

Processing and Agreement

  • From October 1 to March 31, appointments are generally offered within two weeks.
  • From April 1 to September 30, appointment requests are added to the waiting list.
  • Applicants on the waiting list are contacted in September in order of priority based on the date the request was received.

  • The program is administered by the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs as part of the 2030 Plan for Green Economy.
  • Since its inception, more than 180,000 households have benefited from the program free of charge.
  • For the 2026-2027 season, Expertbâtiment Services-Conseils is the only organization authorized to offer the services of the Éconologis government program.
  • Participation in the Éconologis program is a prerequisite for Hydro-Québec’s LogisVert - Modest-Income Households program.
