Financing terms and conditions
- Free services including personalized advice and installation of light energy efficiency measures (weather stripping, draft stoppers, outlet insulation, low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators) with no out-of-pocket costs for the household.
- Free installation of electronic or programmable thermostats, when technical criteria are met.
- Free annual installation of plastic films on windows for eligible individuals receiving a federal government disability benefit.

Eligibility
- The applicant household must have a total gross income equal to or below the specified annual income thresholds, based on household size.
- The applicant must be the owner or tenant of a dwelling located in Quebec (excluding Nunavik).
- The primary heating system of the home must use an eligible energy source (electricity, natural gas, oil, wood, or propane).
- The applicant household must not have benefited from the Éconologis program within the past five years (or within the past three years if having moved to a new residence).
- Eligibility is available regardless of the energy distributor or the heating method used.
Who is not eligible
- Businesses, companies, or collective organizations cannot benefit from the Éconologis program, which is strictly reserved for low-income households (homes) occupying a residential dwelling.
- Dwellings located in the Nunavik region are not eligible for the program.
- A household where an occupant has already benefited from the Éconologis program in the last five years is not eligible, except in the case of a move (the period is reduced to three years).
Eligible expenses
- Installation of light energy-saving products, such as low-flow showerheads and faucet aerators.
- Caulking of windows to improve insulation.
- Installation of weatherstripping at the bottom of doors.
- Insulation of electrical outlets on outside walls.
- Installation of insulating plastic film on windows (for eligible beneficiaries).
- Replacement of old thermostats with electronic or programmable thermostats (when applicable).

- All regions of Quebec, except Nunavik.

- Step 2: Register for the Éconologis Program
- Pre-register online via the authorized partner’s website or by phone (1-866-266-0008).
- If calling, leave a message with your contact details if prompted; you will be contacted to confirm your placement on the waiting list for the appropriate season.
- Step 3: Verify Eligibility with Service Provider
- The authorized service provider will contact you to confirm your eligibility based on the documentation provided.
- You may need to sign a form confirming your eligibility and authorizing participation in the program.
- Step 4: Schedule and Complete Home Visit
- Arrange a visit from an energy efficiency advisor who conducts an evaluation and provides personalized recommendations.
- The advisor may perform light energy efficiency work during the visit (e.g., caulking, weatherstripping, installation of low-flow devices).

- The Éconologis program is administered by the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs, as part of the Plan pour une économie verte 2030.
- Since its inception, more than 170,000 households have received services from the program free of charge.
- If dissatisfied with the service, participants can file a complaint, which will be processed within 20 working days.
- The program operates seasonally from October to March, with the possibility for some services to continue beyond March under certain conditions.
