Who is not eligible

  • Businesses, companies, or collective organizations cannot benefit from the Éconologis program, which is strictly reserved for low-income households (homes) occupying a residential dwelling.
  • Dwellings located in the Nunavik region are not eligible for the program.
  • A household where an occupant has already benefited from the Éconologis program in the last five years is not eligible, except in the case of a move (the period is reduced to three years).

Eligible expenses

  • Installation of light energy-saving products, such as low-flow showerheads and faucet aerators.
  • Caulking of windows to improve insulation.
  • Installation of weatherstripping at the bottom of doors.
  • Insulation of electrical outlets on outside walls.
  • Installation of insulating plastic film on windows (for eligible beneficiaries).
  • Replacement of old thermostats with electronic or programmable thermostats (when applicable).
