Eligible expenses
- Labour, direct materials, and direct project expenses
- Business consulting and legal costs, with limits
- Patent-related costs, up to 10% of the request
- Prototype, proof-of-concept, and pre-clinical or clinical validation costs

- Overhead and administration costs
- General equipment and other hard-to-attribute costs
- Website creation, marketing materials, and conferences, generally
- Principal investigator costs for proof-of-concept or prototype development

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission through the online portal.
