• The applicant holds a Canada Customs & Revenue Agency charitable tax number and can issue tax receipts at the time of application.
• The program benefits, directly or indirectly, the health of the population of Eastern Kings.
• The program is logistically and/or scientifically feasible.
• The program is compatible with or complementary to existing programs and future plans for a healthy community.
• The application includes a process for evaluation and reporting.

Eligible geographic areas

• Eastern Kings County, Nova Scotia

• Direct or indirect benefit to the health of the Eastern Kings population
• Logistical and/or scientific feasibility
• Compatibility or complementarity with existing programs and future healthy-community plans
• Inclusion of an evaluation and reporting process

• Complete the application form in full.
• Ensure the project includes an evaluation and reporting process.

• Submit by the applicable general deadline (March 31 or October 31).

• The program has recurring general deadlines on March 31 and October 31.
• Exceptions to the restriction on replacement of equipment or salaries may be considered at the Disbursements Committee’s discretion.
