How to apply
- Before you buy dual fuel RTU equipment, ensure it is eligible for the rebate.
- Have a contractor licensed with Technical Safety BC install your heat pump system.
- Apply online for your dual fuel RTU rebate within 365 days of the purchase date.
Processing and Agreement
- Applicants must submit their application and supporting documents no later than 365 days after the product purchase date as shown on the invoice.
- FortisBC may request proof of eligibility satisfactory to FortisBC in its sole discretion, including written acknowledgement by the owner of the Premises for lessees.
- FortisBC may require additional evidence and documentation to confirm eligibility to apply for and participate in the Program, and entitlement to receive rebates.
- FortisBC may recalculate the amount of rebate, void the application, terminate any obligation to pay any rebate, or demand repayment if information changes or is incorrect.
