Eligible expenses
- Purchase of a first tote.

- Replacement totes, including those needed because of damage, vandalism or theft.

How to apply
- Register the business address using the online tote program form.
- Order the first tote using the online form, or request additional or replacement totes with the separate form.
- Alternatively, contact Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 to place the order.
Processing and Agreement
- The City reviews the order after submission and may contact the applicant for more information.
- Approved totes are delivered after approval.
- Businesses must follow the City’s Waste Collection By-law and tote use requirements.
Additional information
- Businesses may share a tote with a neighbouring restaurant if both addresses are listed.
- Totes must be stored in a secure location between collections to avoid illegal dumping.
