How to apply
- Step 1: Pre-consultation
- Meet with the project administrator before applying
- Step 2: Prepare application
- Complete the form and gather required supporting documents
- Obtain owner authorization if the applicant is not the property owner
- Step 3: Submit application
- Send the completed application package to the project administrator
- Step 4: Review and approval
- The Municipality reviews the application and may request more information
- Applicants are notified in writing
- Step 5: Agreement and project completion
- Sign the grant agreement before starting work
- Complete the project and submit invoices and proof of payment
Processing and Agreement
- The approval committee will consider whether an applicant plans on working with local contractors as part of the review process.

- Approved projects require a municipal agreement before work starts.
- Projects must begin within 6 months and finish within 12 months of approval.
- The program is offered in two intake periods each year.
