Who is eligible?
- BC societies incorporated under the Societies Act
- BC-based not-for-profit organizations
- Organizations in motion picture, interactive digital media, or magazine and book publishing
Who is not eligible
- Organizations whose primary operations are outside the eligible creative sectors
- Projects or events that have already occurred
- Initiatives that mainly benefit a single company, individual, or their clients
Eligible expenses
- Direct project costs related to delivery of the initiative
- Up to 10% of project-specific staffing costs, with approval

- Inaugural-year events such as first-time festivals
- Ceremonies, award shows, fundraisers, galas, and parties
- Live performances and film festival screenings
- Creative content production, including films, web series, commercials, and TV episodes
- Capital purchases, operational staffing, and year-round organization operating costs
