How to apply
- Step 1: Review the guidelines
- Read the purpose, funding criteria, and helpful tips before starting.
- Prepare your proposal and budget.
- Step 2: Complete the online form
- Fill in the application online and save your progress as you go.
- Copy your prepared responses into the form.
- Step 3: Obtain required review and signatures
- Have the chairperson and pastor or director review and sign the application.
- Step 4: Submit the application
- Use the online submission button to send the application.
- A confirmation email and copy of the application will be sent after submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the board using a rubric based on Trellis Foundation values.
- Applicants may receive feedback after the deadline and can submit a revised application.
- Decisions are emailed after the board meeting, usually within one month of the deadline.
- If approved, the applicant receives confirmation by email along with a copy of the submission.
- Grant recipients must complete a self-assessment and may need to provide a progress report and final budget.

- Applications are accepted twice a year, on May 1 and November 1.
- Feedback is offered after the deadline, with an opportunity to revise the application.
- Applicants must include all requested information for the board to make a decision.
