- Technology solution providers that are not Canadian incorporated companies
- Primary applicants who are Technology Solution Providers in the Project Stream
- Organizations that do not meet Alberta Innovates' funding requirements
Eligible expenses
- Labour costs directly tied to the project
- Materials and supplies
- Software or database acquisition
- Subcontractor fees
- Pre-approved travel and other direct operating costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Costs incurred before the investment agreement is signed
- General overhead and unrelated project costs
- Land, buildings, and lease-related costs
- Advertising, training, and routine maintenance
- Application costs, fines, penalties, and hospitality
