Who is not eligible

  • Federal institutions, including any department, branch, office, board, agency, commission, corporation or other entity that receives an annual appropriation from Parliament.

Eligible expenses

  • Salary and benefits of staff assigned to the project.
  • Costs related to research, including data collection and analysis.
  • Purchase or development of tools (such as software) necessary for the project.
  • Consultants' or external experts' fees for specific project activities.
  • Production costs of resources or educational materials related to misinformation and digital citizenship.

  • Successful applicants can receive up to $380,000 per approved project in this funding round.
