Who is eligible?
- Businesses where the applicant is the owner or tenant of the building.
- Businesses on the small general service (SGS), medium generate service (MGS), or large general service (LGS) rate.
How to apply
- Select that you will use AutoDR when you apply for the demand response program.
- Ensure your equipment is OpenADR certified before enrolling.
- Enroll eligible devices through the device manufacturer’s website or mobile app.
- For Mysa devices, enroll through BC Hydro.
- For Sinopé devices, activate the Eco Sinopé feature in the NeviWeb app.
Processing and Agreement
- BC Hydro validates device enrollment.
- Enrollment bonuses are applied after BC Hydro processes the device enrollment.
- Total seasonal rewards earned during the season are applied to the business’ BC Hydro bill at the end of each eligible season.
Additional information
- Events can occur up to twice a day and last between one and four hours.
- Events can happen on weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Enrolled devices adjust automatically during events, and participants can manually override their device to opt out.
