- Curators who are staff or board members of the co-applicant organization or presenting venue

- Municipalities, colleges, and universities
- Commercial galleries

- Exhibition production costs
- Childcare and dependent care costs necessary to participate in the project
- Accessibility-related costs for Deaf or disabled audiences and participants
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Exhibitions and activities outside Ontario
- Projects that do not pay professional artists at rates equivalent to or higher than CARFAC standards
- Mentorship fees for staff of the presenting institution
- Fundraising activities, student projects or exhibitions, art purchases or sponsorships, and activities in commercial galleries
- Art creation costs, capital expenditures, equipment purchases requiring major expenditures, and operating or administrative costs
How to apply
- Read the Guide des programmes de projets du CAO and create or update your Nova profile.
- Complete and submit the application in Nova.
Processing and Agreement
- If awarded, the lead applicant receives the cheque and completes the final report in Nova.
- The final report must include a description of the project and its results, the final budget, and documentation or an explanation of how funding recognition requirements were met.
- If the final budget shows a surplus of more than $250, you may have to repay the excess amount to the OAC.

- Autochtone means people who self-identify as Métis, Inuit, or a First Nation member.
- The OAC definition of cultural diversity is based on the Government of Canada definition of visible minorities.
