- Set up a profile in the grants portal to begin your application
- Read and sign the terms and conditions with two signing officers
- Submit the application through the City’s Grants Portal no later than Friday, October 9, 2026 by 4:30 p.m. EST
Processing and Agreement
- City staff review grants for accuracy, completeness and eligibility
- The City’s Finance team reviews supporting documentation to determine financial viability and significant variances
- Applications are assessed by the Peer Review Committee and funding recommendations are made for Council approval
- Applicants are notified of the funding recommendation and final results in writing after Council approval
- Groups may be recommended for support with conditions; successful applicants must submit a final report by Friday, November 26, 2027, and invoices and receipts for eligible expenses are due to the grants team to issue the second payment
