  • Capital costs, facility upgrades, maintenance, and debt reduction
  • Costs already covered by other grants, sponsorships, or endowments

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by an internal review committee.
  • Final approval is made by the Director of Development Services.
  • Successful applicants are announced through a news release and on the municipal website.
  • Approved recipients must complete interim and final reporting, including a mid-year check-in with Economic Development staff.
  • Funding is released in two parts, with a 10% holdback until the final report is approved.
