CultivART program eligibility and deadline updated
The CultivART program now shows a deadline of October 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., replacing the previously shown October 15, 2025 deadline. The eligibility text was expanded to cover interns and mentors with new Canada residence and citizenship rules, and it now states that organizations, interns or mentors who do not meet the general requirements are ineligible; artists or cultural workers who have already worked with the organization on more than one paid project are also excluded. The application instructions were also updated: proposed interns and/or mentors must have an ORORA profile at the time of application, including the self-identification tab and CV, and selected hosts must obtain advance email approval from the Indigenous Arts Cultural Advisor. The page now says selected interns and mentors must also complete their individual profile and final report on ORORA.
