Selection criteria
- Quality of the application and proposed internship.
- Organization’s interest in properly hosting an Indigenous intern.
- Organization’s ability to meet the intern’s needs and objectives during matching.
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the ORORA questions.
- Gather the required organizational documents.
- Prepare the internship description, objectives, calendar, and budget information.
- Step 2: Choose the application format
- Submit the application in writing through ORORA, or
- Submit a video application in which the answers to the ORORA questions are provided.
- Keep any video application within five minutes.
- Step 3: Submit through ORORA
- Send the application before the deadline.
- Use the ORORA online portal for submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first checked for eligibility.
- The Indigenous Arts Committee reviews applications and makes recommendations.
- The Committee proposes grant allocations to the Board of Directors.
- The Board of Directors makes the final decision.
- Applicants are notified by email through ORORA, and decisions cannot be communicated by phone.
Additional information
- The organization can submit only one application per year.
- Applications may be submitted in English, but the form questions are in French only.
- A video application is allowed if the ORORA questions are answered and the video stays within five minutes.
- Selected organizations must use ORORA for reporting and project follow-up.
