Who is eligible?

Who is not eligible

  • Individual pasture patrons.
  • Applicants seeking support under the Invasive Plant Control Program administered by SARM.

Eligible expenses

  • Eligible herbicides listed in Appendix A.
  • Third-party weed management costs, including spray equipment rental, chemicals, and licensed applicator fees.
  • One-time purchase of small applicator equipment.
  • Labour for board members, patrons, and employees controlling eligible weeds, as in-kind contribution.
  • Pesticide applicator course fees and weed management plan development by a PAg.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Purchases made before April 1, 2023.
  • Non-registered pesticides or pesticides applied outside the label rate.
  • Large sprayer equipment.
  • Pesticide licence fees and mileage or per diem for the applicator course.
  • Claims for work done by an unlicensed applicator or costs already covered by other government support.
