2026 Creative Communities Projects Program Guidelines

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Professional artists
  • Artist collectives
  • Incorporated non-profit organizations

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations or collectives receiving TAC operating funding
  • Educational or religious institutions without a clear separation of arts activities
  • Schools in Ontario’s public or private education system
  • Applicants seeking funding for school, tuition-funded, curriculum-based, or research projects

  • Accessibility costs for eligible projects

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Completed projects or retroactive costs

  • Film/video production, archiving, publishing, awards, art therapy, fundraising, and deficit reduction
  • Activities outside the City of Toronto, including touring and travel

How to apply

  • Step 1: Register online
    • Create an account in TAC Grants Online.
    • Access the application portal for the program.
  • Step 2: Complete the application
    • Prepare the project description, budget information, and support material.
    • Upload required materials and any supporting files.
  • Step 3: Submit before the deadline
    • Submit the application online by 11:59 pm on the deadline date.
