    • Financial aid can represent up to 50% of the total eligible expenses of the project.
    • The total of government financial aid can amount to up to 75% of the total eligible project expenses.
    • Financial assistance for primary aluminum producers cannot exceed 50% of the total aid granted for the project.
    • The financial support is in the form of a non-refundable and non-recurring contribution.
    • Each partner in the project must submit a joint request for financial aid, detailing their level of involvement and specific expenses.
    • The financial contribution given to each partner will be directly proportional to their level of involvement in the project.
    • The duration of the financial support is limited to a maximum of 24 months per project.

    • Applicant partnerships must include a minimum of two Quebec-based companies, comprising a specialized supplier/equipment manufacturer and a client.
    • The client must be a transformer of aluminium or a primary aluminium producer in Quebec.
    • Companies must be legally constituted under the laws of the government of Quebec or Canada and have an operational establishment in Quebec.
    • Foreign companies can be part of the group as long as the group includes at least one Quebec-based SME supplier/equipment manufacturer.
    • Applicants include equipment manufacturers, primary aluminium producers, and aluminium transformers established in Quebec.
    • The application must be submitted jointly by partners.
    • Ineligible entities include companies controlled by government or municipal entities, majority state-owned enterprises, companies under financial protection laws, those listed ineligible for public contracts, and clients with interest links to partner suppliers.

    • Enterprises registered in the Register of companies ineligible for public contracts.
    • Businesses that failed to meet obligations after receiving financial aid from the Minister of Economy and Innovation in the two years preceding the application.
    • Clients with interest links to a partner supplier (related companies).

    • Costs for purchasing or renting small equipment.
    • Acquisition of studies or other documentation necessary for the project.
    • Obtaining homologation or certification required for commercialization.
    • Other reasonable project-related expenses.
    • Expenses incurred by the Quebec-based company outside Quebec, provided they are necessary for the project's completion and no equivalent option is available in Quebec, not exceeding 15% of the project budget.
