Eligibility
- The organization must be based in the company’s community or provide direct services to the community near one of its major offices.
- The request must align with one of the program’s focus pillars: education and innovation, children and family, disaster relief, or United Way.

How to apply
Step 1: Prepare a charitable support request
- Describe how the request aligns with one of the four pillars (education and innovation, children and family, disaster relief, or United Way).
- Explain the organization’s connection to the funder’s community (based locally or providing direct services near a major office).
- Send the request to corporategiving@opentext.com.
- Allow up to three months for a response, based on the funder’s stated goal.
Processing and Agreement
- The funder aims to respond to proposals within three months.

- The contributions program is funded during OpenText’s fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
- Requests may be considered at any time during the year.
- The stated response target is within three months.
