The Community improvement and incentives page now includes a Building Permit Fee Waiving Program section titled Limited Time: Deadline Sept 7, 2026, and the visible deadline is September 7, 2026. The page also notes a $2.5 million funding cap for that fee waiving program and says it may end early if the cap is reached. - After project approval, the City provides a Commitment Letter outlining the approved work, associated costs, and the City’s financial commitment to the project.
- Funding is issued once the Loan or Grant Agreement is signed and the City verifies that the work is complete.
- Verification may include a letter from the owner certifying completion of the work, photos of the completed work, contractor payment records, and confirmation that all applicable permit sign-offs have been obtained.
