- Equipment or infrastructure purchases above 20% of the total grant requested.

How to apply
Applications for the 2024/25 Community Wellness Grant opened March 12, 2024 and closed April 12, 2024 at 4 p.m. Applicants submitted their request through Island Health's Community Wellness Grant application process, choosing the appropriate individual or partnership stream. Island Health communicated results by early May 2024, distributed funds by early June 2024, and required funded projects to finish spending and submit a short final report by June 30, 2025.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission and results are communicated to all applicants by early May.
- The program is highly competitive, and not all eligible applications will be funded.
- If approved, funds are distributed by early June.
- A short end-of-project report must be submitted at the end of the project.

- An organization may apply for multiple grants for different projects.
