Eligibility

Who is eligible?

Who is not eligible

  • Non-qualified donees applying on their own.
  • Community service organizations that do not partner with a qualified donee.

Eligible expenses

  • Reasonable and essential project costs.
  • Project-related staffing costs.
  • Capital expenses directly tied to the project, such as equipment or space renovation.
  • Overhead and administrative costs up to 15% of the request.

  • Land acquisition.
  • Building purchases.
  • New construction.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Submit a letter of intent
    • Prepare a three-page LOI and organization profile.
    • Submit through the online portal by the stated deadline.
  • Step 2: Wait for LOI review
    • The Grants Committee reviews eligible LOIs.
    • Selected organizations are invited to apply.
  • Step 3: Submit the full application
    • Complete the online application system.
    • Upload the required supporting documents.
    • Submit by the application deadline.
  • Step 4: Attend the meeting stage if invited
    • Attend the in-person meeting to discuss the project and answer questions.
  • Step 5: Receive the decision
    • Applicants are informed of the final decision and next steps.

Processing and Agreement

  • The Foundation reviews eligible letters of intent and selects applicants for the next stage.
  • Selected applicants submit a full application for committee review.
  • Some applicants are invited to an in-person meeting to discuss the project and answer questions.
  • The Grants Committee recommends successful applications to the Board of Directors.
  • Approved applicants are notified and must sign a Memorandum of Understanding before funding.
