Who is not eligible
- Organizations that do not meet the legal non-profit or eligible cooperative status requirements.
- Entities not registered or not in good standing in the Quebec enterprise register (for non-profits and cooperatives).
- Organizations that have been active for less than twelve months (for non-profits and cooperatives).
Eligible expenses
- Project staff wages and benefits.
- Professional fees, equipment, materials and rental costs.
- Communication, promotion, travel and administrative costs.

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed under the program’s call for proposals process.
- For sub-stream 2B, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
- A funding agreement must be signed before funding is granted.
Additional information
- Financial assistance agreements can last up to three years.
- Applications are submitted through annual calls for proposals, except for sub-stream 2B.
- Funded organizations must complete mid-year, annual, and final accountability reports.
- The program is complementary to other MIFI and government funding programs.
