  • Organizations that do not operate in Nova Scotia
  • Applicants without one or more Nova Scotian residents involved in the organization
  • Businesses or organizations that previously received funds through this program

    • Do not email attachments, research files, or copies of the application.
    • Submit only one application per applicant organization or business.
  • Step 4: Confirm submission
    • Look for the “Thank you for your submission” screen after sending.
    • If confirmation does not appear, contact the program team.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission through the online form.
  • Additional emailed documents are not considered in evaluation.
  • Funding announcements are made at the end of March.
  • All applicants receive an email advising them of the grant recipients.

Additional information

  • Applicants do not need to be current CUA members.
  • Duplicate submissions will be discarded; only the earliest submission is considered.
  • Selected applicants may be re-categorized by CUA staff if appropriate.
  • Applicants who previously received funds through this program are not eligible.
