How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the application form.
- Prepare the budget plan and work plan calendar.
- Gather any supporting documents needed for assessment.
- Step 2: Assemble supporting information
- Include maps, photos, approvals, or other relevant documents if applicable.
- Provide the information needed to support the project rationale and assessment.
- Step 3: Send the application by email
- Submit the completed application to Interactions_Communautaires_Quebec_Community_Interaction@ec.gc.ca.
- Use the email submission method indicated by the program.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission and an answer is normally received about 16 weeks later.
- Assessment is based on the information provided in the application and supporting documents.
- If selected, an agreement must be signed before funding is finalized.
- Funding will not be finalized until matching contributions from project partners are confirmed.

- Community involvement and partnerships are important in project assessment.
- Projects can be linked to a Regional Integrated Management Plan (RIMP).
- Support may include cash or in-kind matching funds from partners.
- An agreement must be signed for selected projects.
