This program provides up to $10,000 per year per organization to support innovative, small-scale projects in Haida Gwaii. Funding supports initiatives focused on job creation, health and wellness, education and training, community building, and cultural and environmental preservation.

Activities funded

Small, innovative projects that create new employment opportunities for islanders.
Programs that enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through healthy lifestyle promotion, healthcare access, or community-based wellness initiatives.
Educational projects and training programs that build skills for future employment, personal development, or community leadership.
Initiatives that foster collaboration among local organizations, businesses, and residents to strengthen social bonds and address community needs.
Projects that protect and celebrate cultural heritage and the natural environment while promoting sustainable resource use.
