- The initiative must be a community project delivered as activities or services by and for Francophone community(ies) in Manitoba.
- The initiative must align with the foundation’s charitable mandate and vision (supporting a Francophonie where people can live in French in all aspects of life).
- The initiative must promote expression in French and the cultural richness associated with it.
- The initiative must benefit the Francophone community in Manitoba through social and cultural benefits.
- The initiative must respect intellectual property rights and avoid cultural appropriation.
