How to apply

  • Step 1
    • Schedule a pre-consultation with Township staff.
    • Discuss the proposed project and application requirements.
  • Step 2
    • Complete the CIP application form.
    • Prepare supporting information, including cost estimates and project details.
  • Step 3
    • Submit the application to the Township’s Development Services Department.
    • Ensure the application is complete before it is reviewed.
  • Step 4
    • Wait for staff review, committee recommendation, and Council decision.
    • If approved, sign the required agreement with the Township.
  • Step 5
    • Complete the project.
    • Submit invoices and proof of payment for reimbursement.

Processing and Agreement

  • Application is reviewed by Township staff.
  • Staff provides a recommendation to the Planning Advisory and Committee of Adjustment.
  • The Committee makes a recommendation to Council.
  • Applicants are notified of the decision.
  • Approved applicants sign an agreement with the Township before funding is released.

  • Pre-consultation with Township staff is required before applying.
  • Applications are accepted at any time, subject to available annual funds.
  • Only one grant per program is allowed per calendar year, per registered property.
