How to apply
- Step 1: Pre-consultation
- Meet with one or more members of the CIP Implementation Committee.
- Confirm the requirements for a complete application.
- Step 2: Prepare the application
- Complete and sign the application form.
- Gather required supporting materials and estimates.
- Obtain owner consent if you are not the property owner.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Return the application to the Planning Department at the Municipal Office in Balmertown or by email.
- Submit any additional materials requested by the committee.
- Step 4: Review and decision
- The committee reviews the application and supporting documents.
- You are informed if the submission is incomplete.
- A decision is made on approval or refusal.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the CIP Implementation Committee.
- Applicants are notified if their submission is incomplete.
- Approved applications require a Financial Assistance Agreement.
- Work must begin within six months of approval or commitments may be cancelled.
- After completion, invoices and proof of payment are submitted, followed by municipal inspection before funding is initiated.
