2026 Fall Intake Open and Grant Rules Updated
The 2026 fall intake is now open, replacing the previous intake status, and the application link now points to the fall grant form. The Forms page also now links to the August 2026 grant policy and guidelines and the fall budget template. The August 2026 guidelines add discretionary retroactive funding for unforeseen emergencies outside intake periods if applicants apply at the next intake with supporting documents, and they add a condition that repeat applications for the same project are only possible if the project has not been completed.

How to apply

- Before starting your grant application, read the CFSV grant policy and guidelines.
- Submit the grant application online using Google Forms.
- If you do not already have a Google account, create one using any existing email address.
- Download, edit, and upload the required documents linked in the application form.
Processing and Agreement
- All qualified applications are reviewed based on merit in relation to the grant criteria and available funds.
- CFSV may conduct interviews of representatives of the applicant, if necessary.
- CFSV may set terms and conditions on any grants awarded.
- Successful organizations must attend a granting ceremony to complete the initial phase of the grant process.
- Grant recipients must evaluate their projects and submit a Progress Report and a Final Report.
- The grant is not considered complete until the final report is received.

- Intakes are held in February and October annually.
- Applications are submitted online using Google Forms.
