The Funding Opportunities page now shows the Community Development Fund 2027 intake period, with applications due by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 and decisions expected by January 2027. The Wellington North Cultural Roundtable Program Funding and Sponsorship section now says the 2026 application intake is closed and directs applicants to check back for 2027 intake information. How to apply
- Complete the application form for the applicable funding stream.
- Submit Community Development Fund applications by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
- Submit Cultural Events Funding and Sponsorship applications by Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Processing and Agreement
- Township staff will review applications and prepare a report for Council approval.
- The Cultural Roundtable will hold a discussion at its June meeting and make a decision based on whether the application meets the program’s objectives.
- All applicants will be notified of the decision by January 2027.
- Recipients of Cultural Roundtable funding will be asked to submit a brief report upon completion of their event or initiative.
- Applicants will be notified in writing and funds will be disbursed by cheque made payable to the organization.
Additional information
- Applications are reviewed by Township staff and approved by Council.
- Applicants may be asked to provide financial statements.
- The Township may promote approved projects in its communications.
- Funding is available through separate streams, including cash donations and use of space.
