Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • City-owned community centres in Winnipeg.
  • Board-run community centres.

Who is not eligible

  • Community centres that are not board-run.

Eligible expenses

  • Facility repairs and renovations.
  • Upgrades and retrofits.
  • Safety improvement work.

  • Advertising, meals, travel, and in-kind contributions

  • Step 2: Submit Part Two
    • Complete the Request for Funding Part Two form after Part One requirements are met.

Processing and Agreement

  • Part One is reviewed for eligibility and completeness.
  • A facility visit is scheduled after Part One review.
  • Part Two is reviewed by the City of Winnipeg and GCWCC.
  • Applications that do not meet Part One requirements are not considered.
