How to apply

  • Step 1: Visit a Department of Opportunities and Social Development office
    • Go to a participating office in Halifax Regional Municipality or Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
    • Bring yourself and any eligible family members who are applying.
  • Step 2: Have your photo taken
    • The department will take a photo for the bus pass.
  • Step 3: Receive the bus pass by mail
    • The bus pass is mailed to your home after the photo is taken.
