Processing and Agreement

  • District Councillors review whether the initiative fits the policy before an application is submitted.
  • Policy recommendations are reviewed for approval by the appropriate approver.
  • The decision is communicated to the Policy Editor, Policy Owner, and Assistant Municipal Clerk.
  • Approved policies are maintained, stored, and posted as appropriate.

Additional information

  • Applications are initiated by district Councillors.
  • Payments are made in the name of a non-profit organization whenever possible.
  • Unused funds may carry over into a district Beautification Reserve Fund.
