Selection criteria
- Rebates are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applications are reviewed based on submission date, not invoice or shipment date.
How to apply
- Create an account in the CSSP Online Application Portal.
- Sign in to the portal, go to the Rebate Request tab, and select the mode of transport.
- Enter all required information and upload all required documents.
- Use Add Entry to add more shipments when submitting multiple shipments.
Processing and Agreement
- After submitting your request, Transport Canada will assess it.
- In Review means your rebate request has been successfully submitted and will be assessed.
- You will be notified by email whenever your application status changes in the portal, and Transport Canada will send you a message through the portal if more information is needed.
- Approved means your request is eligible and you will receive the rebate within 20 business days.
- Rejected means your request isn’t eligible or funding has run out.
