The Combating Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) Grant provides funding to enhance organizational capacity to respond to human trafficking, increase specialized trauma-informed supports for victims and survivors, and reduce the risk of victimization and re-exploitation in Alberta. While there is no financial cap on funding requests, projects may receive a lesser amount based on available funding, with terms of up to two years available for initiatives in prevention, protection, and empowerment, particularly those that are Indigenous and/or survivor-led.
