- Businesses without a farm in BC or the Yukon
- Applicants not properly registered, licensed, or certified
- BC applicants without farm status
- Businesses not registered with the CRA
- Operations not in business for at least one year
Eligible expenses
- Seed and planting costs for cover cropping, intercropping, and legume rotation
- Price differences for nitrogen management inputs and fertilizer applications
- Professional planning, technical support, and agronomic services
- Equipment purchases and upgrades for manure and fertilizer application
- Rotational grazing infrastructure and related setup costs

- In-kind costs
- Practices already applied before the program period
- Nutrients other than nitrogen
- Mechanical or chemical cover crop termination
- Ongoing operating costs for virtual fencing

Processing and Agreement

- Funding decisions are sent by email through the IAF Client Portal
