How to apply
- Step 1: Confirm eligibility and theme alignment
- Review the applicant guide and program criteria.
- Create a GCKey and access GCEMS/SWIM.
- Step 2: Prepare the proposal
- Complete all required sections in the online form.
- Prepare supporting documents and budget information.
- Step 3: Submit through GCEMS
- Submit the proposal by the lead applicant or authorized delegate.
- Upload supporting documents before the deadline.
- Step 4: Review and next steps
- Receive an acknowledgment email with a four-digit ID.
- If approved in principle, negotiate and sign a funding agreement.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first screened for eligibility.
- Eligible proposals are technically reviewed by federal experts, with possible NZAB review.
- Applicants are notified by email of the decision.
- Approved projects receive a letter to negotiate a funding agreement.
- Funding is conditional on the signed agreement.
