Overview

This funding call supports industrial clean technology demonstrations, pilots, and trials in British Columbia to reduce emissions. Funding can cover up to 75% of eligible expenses for projects that innovate and have a path to commercial adoption.

Activities funded

  • Demonstration of clean technologies or processes for industrial emissions reductions.
  • Pilot projects testing clean technologies or processes in an industrial context.
  • Trial deployments of clean technologies or processes with potential for commercial adoption.
Examples of admissible projects:
$ 148,500
Demonstrate electrified boiler retrofit to cut industrial heating emissions
$ 224,250
Pilot modular waste-heat recovery to reduce fuel use in drying

Eligibility

  • The project must demonstrate, pilot, or trial a clean technology or process.
  • The project must have the potential to reduce emissions in British Columbia.
  • Emissions reductions must result from use at reporting operations and/or commercial adoption of the technology or process.
  • The project must contribute to innovation by developing a new technology/process or innovatively adapting an existing one.
  • The technology or process must have a path to commercial adoption if proven viable.
