- Step 2: Prepare the application
- Complete the online application form.
- Prepare the required project description, drawings, cost breakdown, and photos.
- If applying as a tenant, obtain the property owner’s letter of understanding.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Submit the online application form for the appropriate incentive stream.
- Submit before work begins.
- Step 4: Await review and decision
- Applications are reviewed by the Program Coordinator and, where applicable, the Adjudication Committee.
- Applicants receive notification of the decision and project deadlines.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Program Coordinator and, for most streams, by an Adjudication Committee.
- Facade Conservation and Enhancement and Heritage Conservation applications are reviewed twice a year.
- Building Refresh applications are reviewed and approved administratively throughout the year on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applicants are notified of the decision, and approved projects receive a start date and completion deadline.
- Payment is issued after satisfactory completion of the project, submission of receipts, and closure of relevant permits if required.
