Growth CIP funding details updated
The Growth Community Improvement Plan page now includes a link to the Streams of Growth CIP Top-Up Funding page and shows that, starting January 2026, the City is offering three streams of top-up funding under Year 2 of the Housing Accelerator Fund. The visible program details also state funding of up to 75%, up to a maximum of $25,000 per dwelling unit, for properties in the urban area, and note that properties must be connected to municipal sewer and water services to qualify. These additions expand the housing-targeted scope and clarify the funding conditions now visible for this part of the program.

Selection criteria
- The Growth CIP Review Team evaluates proposals through five sections for a total of 85 points.
- Façade Materials: 30 points.
- Cornices: 10 points.
- Signage: 15 points.
- Ground Floor Windows and Doors: 15 points, scored on glass transparency, percentage of glass at ground level, and window sill line height; Lighting: 15 points, scored on front-lit signage and secondary entrance lighting.
