  • Societies not registered as non-profits in BC

Eligible expenses

  • Capital expenses for licensed child care facilities
  • Large equipment and furnishings
  • Building renovations
  • Playground improvements
  • Professional development workshops for the broader child care community

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Political activities including promoting or serving a political party or organization
  • Lobbying for a political party or cause
  • Programs delivered in partnership with political parties
  • Individual staff registration for courses or workshops
  • Art supplies and consumables (not capital expenditures)

  • A Grant-Use Report documenting fund usage must be submitted within one year of receipt.
  • Capital Grant Use reports must include photos of items and itemized receipts.
  • Applicants with prior grants must submit a report on previous fund use before new applications are considered.
