- Organizations with overdue or incomplete reporting on previous ministry grants

- Staff salaries, training, and professional services
- Technology upgrades, minor equipment, and office supplies
- Travel within Alberta and meeting costs
- Communications, marketing, and start-up costs for new collaboratives

How to apply
- Step 1: Review guidelines and resource documents
- Read the program guidelines and collaborative resource document.
- Confirm eligibility and eligible costs.
- Step 2: Register for Front Office
- Create a Front Office account before applying.
- Submit the registrant form by email to receive login credentials.
- Step 3: Prepare supporting documents
- Gather financial statements, partner agreement, board list, and payment form.
- Prepare job descriptions and quotes or estimates where required.
- Step 4: Complete and submit the application
- Log in to Front Office and complete the online application.
- Upload required documents and submit before the intake deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after intake closes, usually within about 6 months.
- Program staff may contact applicants for more information.
- Applicants receive a decision by email.
- Approved applicants must complete final reporting through the Front Office portal.
- All decisions are final and no appeals are considered.

- Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with two deadlines each year.
- Successful applicants must submit final reports within 24 months of payment.
