  • Planning, research, and feasibility work
  • Staff salaries, training, and professional services
  • Technology upgrades, minor equipment, and office supplies
  • Travel within Alberta and meeting costs
  • Communications, marketing, and start-up costs for new collaboratives

  • Events, performances, festivals, and celebrations
  • Debt retirement, deficit reduction, and endowments
  • Large capital or facility expenditures
  • Costs incurred before application submission
