This program provides funding up to an unspecified maximum amount for initiatives supporting children’s health and well-being. Eligible activities include programs, equipment, capital projects, and research connected to the Alberta Children’s Hospital and related facilities.

How to apply

Step 1: Access application form
  • Download the CHAS Request Form from the Foundation’s website
Step 2: Prepare request submission
  • Complete the CHAS Request Form with the requested information
Step 3: Submit application
  • Submit the completed CHAS Request Form to the Foundation
  • Ensure the application is received by February 28 (spring review) or September 30 (fall review)

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Requests Committee twice yearly (spring and fall cycles).
  • Requests are identified, researched, and recommended to the Board of Directors for charitable support consideration.

  • Multi-year support is subject to annual performance reviews.
