This program provides funding up to an unspecified maximum amount for initiatives supporting children’s health and well-being. Eligible activities include programs, equipment, capital projects, and research connected to the Alberta Children’s Hospital and related facilities.

How to apply
Step 1: Access application form
- Download the CHAS Request Form from the Foundation’s website
- Complete the CHAS Request Form with the requested information
- Submit the completed CHAS Request Form to the Foundation
- Ensure the application is received by February 28 (spring review) or September 30 (fall review)
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Requests Committee twice yearly (spring and fall cycles).
- Requests are identified, researched, and recommended to the Board of Directors for charitable support consideration.

- Applications are reviewed twice per year (spring and fall).
- Multi-year support is subject to annual performance reviews.
- CHAS continues its long-standing commitment to Camp Horizon.
