  • Organizations located outside of Sudbury for projects that substantially benefit Sudbury residents

  • Capacity-building consulting and professional services
  • Staff and board training
  • Program evaluation tools and support
  • Resources and services for youth emotional well-being programs

  • General appeals, benefit tickets, and sponsorships
  • Government-responsibility efforts or religious activities

How to apply

  • Step 1: Create an account in the online application portal
    • Register on the Foundation’s online portal.
  • Step 2: Submit an Expression of Interest
    • Complete the short Expression of Interest.
    • Schedule and complete the 30-minute Zoom call with staff before applying.
  • Step 3: Submit a Full Application if invited
    • If accepted, submit the full application through the portal.

Processing and Agreement

  • Expression of Interest is reviewed by the Review Committee.
  • Applicants are contacted by email in about six weeks.
  • Applicants are informed whether they are invited to submit a full application.
  • Final decisions are announced in June.

Additional information

  • Applicants should schedule a 30-minute Zoom call with staff before applying.
  • Collaboration with similar-mission agencies is viewed favorably.
  • Multi-year requests may be accepted.
  • Organizations are generally limited to one grant per calendar year.
